Welcome to HerWell ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal health data with the highest standards of security and privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website.
2. Data We Collect
When you use HerWell, we collect information you provide directly to us:
- Account information (email address)
- Health data (cycle dates, flow intensity, symptoms, moods, weight, energy levels)
- Interactions with the HerWell AI assistant
- Daily lifestyle metrics (sleep, water intake)
- Device information for push notification delivery (FCM token)
3. How We Use Your Data
Your health data is used solely to provide and improve the HerWell service: tracking your cycle, generating personalised insights, and powering the AI assistant's responses. We never sell your personal health data to third parties or advertisers.
4. Data Security
We employ industry-standard AES-256 encryption and HTTPS transport security to ensure your data is protected both in transit and at rest on our servers.
5. Subscriptions & Billing
HerWell offers a free tier and an optional HerWell Pro subscription. Subscriptions are managed and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's App Store settings. We do not handle or store payment card details — all billing is managed exclusively by Apple or Google.
6. Age Restrictions (COPPA Compliance)
HerWell is intended for users who are 13 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at support@getherwell.com and we will promptly delete the information.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
When you request account deletion through the app, your account enters a 30-day grace period before permanent erasure. After this period, all personal data is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our servers. You may also export all your data in JSON format at any time from the Privacy Settings screen in the app.
8. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, rectify, export, or permanently erase all data we hold about you. These rights can be exercised directly through the app settings or by contacting us.
